Neighbors are painting cars inside of building and it’s making me sick, what should I do?
The new neighbors that just moved in have started an auto body repair shop in our strip mall. It’s flooded my office with the smell of car paint and other chemicals they use. I’ve placed a fan in the door to try to vent the smell but it’s not really helping. I had to go outside because of my headache and my throat fells swollen. I explained the situation to them but they speak very little English and he just agrees with me. The owner seems to not really understand the problem he is creating. I called the building owner and he’s useless. He just said it was a problem between me and my neighbors so I need to work out with them.
I’ve been told that DEHC is the people to call about this but there’s no direct line to them and anyone I’ve talked to with them either doesn’t know what to do or just sends you around in circles.
I can’t work under these conditions and this has to be fixed by tomorrow. I’m not sure who I can call or what to do in this matter.
